OUTPUT CONTRACT

Finish with artifacts another person can inspect.

A newly rasterized PNG with opaque solid-fill redactions, verified zone coverage, original/output SHA-256 fingerprints, zone manifest, SVG map, CSV audit, Markdown safety note and JSON receipt.

The receipt proves which browser run produced the downloadable artifacts and whether their bytes match the listed SHA-256 digests. It does not prove an external deployment, account state or legal outcome.

Sources, fixtures, artifacts and correction

Method: apply user-selected opaque fills, re-rasterize into a new PNG, decode the output again, verify every selected zone for pixel uniformity, and hash source plus artifact bytes. Manual selection is an explicit limit: the tool cannot know whether you missed sensitive content.

Official sources: WHATWG Canvas, the W3C PNG specification, and Web Cryptography API.

Reproducible fixtures: synthetic source, accepted zones, and rejected zone.

Inspect at least two artifacts: redacted PNG and zone-map SVG; the audit CSV, zone JSON, share-safety Markdown and Receipt v1 make the decision reviewable.
