Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
FastTool ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at fasttool.app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our site works. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit FastTool, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
By using FastTool, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
1. Information We Collect
FastTool is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal details to use our tools. Here is a breakdown of the types of information that may be collected:
1.1 Information You Provide
When you use our tools, you may enter text, upload files, or paste data into input fields. Most standard tool inputs are processed in your browser using client-side JavaScript where the feature supports local processing. FastTool does not provide account workspaces or server-side project storage for tool input. Pages may still load disclosed third-party resources such as analytics, ads on eligible pages, fonts, or security services.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, certain technical information may be collected automatically when you visit FastTool:
- IP address (collected by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and performance purposes)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring URL (the page that linked you to our site)
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
This data is collected through server logs and disclosed analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 where configured, and is used in aggregate form to understand site traffic, improve performance, and identify technical issues. We do not use this data to create FastTool account profiles.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
FastTool uses a minimal number of cookies and local storage entries:
2.1 Essential Cookies
- Theme preference (stored in localStorage as "theme") — remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode.
- Language preference (stored in localStorage as "um_lang") — remembers your selected language across visits.
- Tool usage history (stored in localStorage) — keeps a local record of recently used tool names or slugs for your convenience. This data is stored locally in your browser.
- Workflow Studio progress (stored in localStorage as "fasttool.workflowStudio.v1") — stores only completed workflow step IDs and the last selected workflow filter. It does not store pasted text, files, document names, passwords, tokens, or tool output.
2.2 Third-Party Cookies
We use or may use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies or receive page-level telemetry on eligible pages:
- Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-7772638845090771) — advertising is currently disabled. If it is enabled later on eligible editorial pages, FastTool will first activate the required consent controls. Google and its advertising partners may then process cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and page-level telemetry under their policies. See Google partner-site data use and Google Ads Settings.
- Google Analytics 4 — Google may process page-view and interaction telemetry so we can understand reliability and improve tool quality. Google Analytics operates under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — Cloudflare collects anonymized analytics data to help us understand site performance and visitor patterns. Cloudflare's analytics are privacy-focused and do not use cookies for tracking. More information is available in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used for the following purposes:
- To deliver and maintain the website and its tools
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the site
- If advertising is enabled later, to display it only on eligible editorial pages after applicable consent
- To protect against abuse, spam, and security threats
- To respond to inquiries sent to our contact email
FastTool does not sell or rent personal information and does not create FastTool account profiles. Disclosed providers may process consented page-level identifiers and retain telemetry under their own policies; browser-local return-visit markers are used only after analytics consent and can be cleared with site data.
4. Third-Party Services
FastTool relies on a small number of third-party services to operate. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting and content delivery (Privacy Policy)
- Google AdSense — currently disabled; conditional future advertising on eligible pages (Privacy Policy)
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate page-view and interaction telemetry where configured (Privacy Policy)
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate performance and traffic analytics (Privacy Policy)
- Google Fonts — web fonts loaded from Google's CDN (Privacy Policy)
We do not use undisclosed third-party analytics, marketing, or tracking services beyond the providers listed above.
5. Data Retention
FastTool does not store account workspaces for tool inputs. Data entered into browser-first tools generally exists in your browser memory during the session and is discarded when you close the tab or navigate away, while disclosed providers may retain their own page telemetry under their policies.
Preferences stored in your browser's localStorage (theme, language, tool history, and Workflow Studio step status) persist until you clear your browser data. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings, and Workflow Studio includes its own progress reset control.
Server logs maintained by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's data retention policies, typically for a limited period, and are used solely for security and performance monitoring.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Right to access — You can request information about what data we hold about you (which is minimal to none).
- Right to deletion — You can request deletion of any personal data we may hold. Since we do not collect personal data through our tools, this primarily applies to any correspondence you send us via email.
- Right to opt out — You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or by using browser extensions that block tracking cookies.
- Right to lodge a complaint — You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
FastTool is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove that information.
Our tools are general-purpose utilities intended for a broad audience, and we encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's internet usage and to help enforce this policy.
8. International Users
FastTool is accessible worldwide and supports multiple languages. Regardless of where you access the site from, the same privacy protections apply. Where a tool supports local processing, standard tool input is handled in your browser instead of an account workspace or FastTool project database.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please note that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process limited server log data in various locations. Cloudflare maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the integrity of our website. Our site is served over HTTPS, ensuring that your connection to FastTool is encrypted. Because we do not maintain user accounts or project databases for tool inputs, the amount of user data available to FastTool is intentionally limited.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use up-to-date browsers and exercise caution when using any online service.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of FastTool after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact Us
